On Saturday, April 27 in the North Stable at Oakley Farm, we’re hosting a private tasting of Troddenvale’s “spring-release” ciders, and includes an optional cheese pairing.

For the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be extending our open hours. Our Cider Bar will feature cider tastings, as well as by the glass and bottle - with an offering of local cheese boards to accompany. Our Wine Shop also features curated wines available by the bottle for onsite consumption, or to-go.
All booking fees will be applied toward an on-site purchase. Walk-ins are welcome during open business hours; however, reservations are recommended for Saturdays. Join us for the FOODLORE Thanksgiving Market on Wednesday, November 23 from 4 - 6 pm and help us kick off the holiday celebrations!
Troddenvale will be pouring ciders by the glass or bottle. They will have an offering of curated wines available by the bottle to enjoy on-site or to take home with you for the holiday weekend.
The Thanksgiving Market will feature local goods for those who choose to shop in person. Shop Fireside eggs, Apple Horse Farm beef, Tonoloway Farm syrups, Raven's Run honey, as well as Troddenvale cider & curated wines. The in-person market may be limited, so be sure to pre-order if you want to guarantee your items.
On Saturday, October 8 in the North Stable at Oakley Farm, we're hosting a collaborative dinner brought to you by the folks of Two Fire Table and Troddenvale. The event will be a coursed, experiential meal with wood-fired cooking featuring sourced ingredients from many of our local Foodlore farmers.
Join us for a Cheese & Cider Pairing Seminar with Richmond cheesemonger Sara Adduci, featuring Troddenvale ciders. Sara has worked as a cheesemonger at Feast! in Charlottesville and currently runs the cheese program at Belmont Butchery in Richmond.
The FOODLORE Christmas Market will be on Wednesday, December 22 from 4 - 6pm. The market will provide both the opportunity to pre-order online, and/or shop in person. Local chefs Amanda Green with Yonderyear Farm alongside Kelly Cowden with Fort Lewis Farm will be cooking up delicious food to eat on-site or take to-go. Troddenvale will be pouring ciders by the glass or bottle.
11 AM: Farm Tour & Cider Tasting *Advanced tickets required
Join us for a tour of the Oakley Farm Orchard and cider production space, followed by a cider tasting hosted in the newly renovated North Stable. We anticipate the experience will last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Cider tastings are only for guests over the age of 21.
2 - 6 PM: Open House Cider Tastings *No appointment necessary!
Help us celebrate our ‘soft opening’ of the newly renovated North Stable. Join us for cider tastings at any point throughout the afternoon, or stop by to enjoy a glass or bottle. No tickets are required.
